Tyler Linderbaum was a first-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens during the 2022 NFL Draft. He’s looking to land a starting job quickly and serve in an offense featuring dynamic quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Unfortunately, Linderbaum went down with an apparent injury during Thursday’s practices with the Baltimore Ravens. According to Jeff Zrebiec with The Athletic, Linderbaum went down and grabbed at his lower left leg in practice.
He was, fortunately, able to slowly walk off the field.
Ravens first-round pick Tyler Linderbaum left the field with a trainer about an hour into practice. The rookie center went down to the ground during a team drill.
It looked like lower left leg for Linderbaum, who limped after getting up but then walked on his own power.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh addressed the incident after practice. While he did not provide any specifics, Harbaugh did say Linderbaum should be okay.
Harbaugh said that Linderbaum is going to be fine, but Vince Biegel tore his Achilles.

Prior to Thursday, Linderbaum was already making a strong impression with the Ravens. Harbaugh has raved about his attitude and work ethic, so hopefully Linderbaum doesn’t have a significant setback in training camp.
