Vegas releases opening line for Iowa-Maryland game
Iowa will be a slight favorite when it takes on Maryland in a matchup of undefeated Big Ten teams on Friday night.
The Terps are 3-point underdogs in the game, according to newly-released lines over at Draft Kings.
Iowa is coming off a closer-than-expected win over Colorado State this weekend. The Rams actually held a lead at halftime, but Iowa won the second half 17-0 and won the game 24-14.

The Hawkeyes are up to No. 5 overall in the Week 5 AP Poll. They are 4-0 overall and have ranked wins over Indiana and Iowa State already on their résumé.
Maryland has been one of the biggest surprises of the college football season so far. The Terps are also off to a 4-0 start and are just outside of the AP Top 25 this week.
The Terps don’t have the big wins on their résumé that Iowa does, but they do have have a nice nonconference win over West Virginia and are 1-0 in the Big Ten thanks to a win over Illinois in Week 3.
Quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa currently leads the Big Ten in passing yards per game and has cleared 300 yards in three of the Terps’ first four games.
Kick off is at 8 p.m. ET on Friday and the game will be broadcast on FS1.
