Iowa will host Colorado State next weekend as it hopes to improve to 4-0 on the season.

The Hawkeyes will do so as heavy favorites. According to Draft Kings, Iowa is currently a 22.5-point favorite over Colorado State. The total is currently set at 44.5 points.

Vegas is clearly expecting a low-scoring game. The Hawkeyes haven’t shown the ability to be explosive offensively yet in 2021, but their defense is amongst the best in the country.

Iowa’s defense has only given up three touchdowns so far this season — two to Iowa State and one to Kent State last weekend. The Hawkeyes won that game 30-7, and then Golden Flashes were shutout over the contest’s final three quarters.

Iowa has the best scoring defense in the Big Ten through three weeks as it is allowing just 10 points per contest so far. Iowa is third in the Big Ten in yards per play allowed with 4.23, trailing just behind Rutgers (4.22) and Penn State (4.19).

Kick off is at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday.
