It wasn’t that long ago that Akrum Wadley was juking defenders out of their cleats every weekend while sporting the TigerHawk logo on his helmet. On Sunday night, the former Iowa running back continued to make opponents look silly.

Wadley, who’s currently a member of the AAF’s Atlanta Legends, was back on the field Sunday night, putting on a show for everyone tuning in. There was one play in particular that caught everyone’s attention.

Wadley turned a dump-off pass-and-catch into a 33-yard gain late in the third quarter against San Diego, juking by defenders and using a nifty spin move to get a little extra yardage. He didn’t reach the end zone on the play, but it was still impressive:

After rushing for 2,872 yards and 28 touchdowns in his career at Iowa, Wadley went undrafted in 2018 and signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent. He was waived before the start of the season.

Wadley certainly hasn’t lost any of his shiftiness or ability to get by defenders over the last year.
