College football season is officially here.

Week 1 is upon us and Iowa football kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Aug. 31 at home against Miami (Ohio).

Ahead of the game, the Hawkeyes released a hype video featuring a recent Iowa star who has already made his presence felt in the NFL:

This hype video has got to get you amped. Especially when it features George Kittle. Kittle caught 42 passes for 604 yards and 10 TD his final two seasons at Iowa.

With the San Francisco 49ers a year ago, he caught 88 passes for 1,377 yards and 5 TD. From a historical perspective, Kittle had one of the all-time great seasons as a tight end in the NFL.

We’ll see if Iowa can put on a historical kind of performance Week 1 against Miami (Ohio). The game will be televised on FS1.
