The University of Iowa Steady Family Children’s Hospital has become one of the most famous medical facilities in the country, thanks primarily to the berth of the Iowa Wave.
With the college football season over and no more Saturdays in Kinnick Stadium for over six months, the Hawkeyes decided to pay a visit to their friends in the children’s hospital this week.
Iowa’s football team made the trip across the way from Kinnick Stadium and celebrated a Christmas and holiday party with the children in the hospital. Players enjoyed some arts and crafts, games and, of course, Christmas cookies while celebrating the season.
Everyone looked like they were having a great time. Here are some photos and videos of the event that took place earlier this week.
