Everything is going right in Iowa City.
The Hawkeyes waited for their toughest opponent to play their best game of the season. Oh, and a little bit of that Kinnick Stadium magic helped, too.
It was never more apparent than on a drive late in the third quarter, when it appeared that the Hawkeyes would settle for a field goal and be elated to take a 17-point lead over Ohio State. But Kirk Ferentz — that gutsy play-caller — decided to change things up.
It included an audible out of a fake field goal, Nate Stanley delivering a perfect pass with an Ohio State defensive linemen draped around his ankle and Iowa taking a three-touchdown lead over the sixth-ranked Buckeyes.
