WATCH: Iowa QB Nate Stanley finds Ihmir Smith-Marsette for 60-yard TD
Iowa is on the road in Week 6, facing Minnesota as both teams enter with 3-1 overall records.
Both the Hawkeyes and Golden Gophers are 0-1 to start the season in Big Ten play as well, so a win to get back to .500 is on the line. Iowa has responded quickly to that.
Just 3 minutes after a 3-yd TD pass from QB Nate Stanley to TE T.J. Hockenson, Stanley connected with another pass-catcher for a much longer score. From 60 yards out, Stanley connected with WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette to extend the Hawkeyes’ lead to 14 midway through the first quarter:

Stanley had to do a bit of running around to find Smith-Marsette, but once he did, the sophomore receiver was wide open. The 6-foot-1 pass-catcher did the rest with his legs.
