WATCH: Iowa's Tristan Wirfs cleans 450 pounds four times and makes it look easy
Tristan Wirfs is making his case for the strongest offensive lineman in the B1G.
On Tuesday, the official Twitter account of Iowa Football tweeted out a video of the Hawkeye power cleaning 450 pounds. But Wirfs didn’t do it just once, he completed the drill four times before celebrating with his teammates.
And he made it look awfully easy.
Here’s the video of Wirfs showing off his incredible strength in the power clean.

A lot of defensive linemen are going to have trouble getting around Wirfs next fall, that’s for sure.
Wirfs started in 12 of 13 games for the Hawkeyes last season, making his appearances at right tackle. He was an All-B1G honorable mention for his role in Iowa’s 9-4 campaign in 2018.
But it looks like Wirfs is ready to take that next step in 2019, his junior season. It appears he’s off to a pretty strong start (pun intended) already.
