Iowa Josey Jewell earned some pretty high honors on Monday, being named the recipient of the Jack Lambert Award, presented to the best linebacker in college football. He finished the season with a B1G-best 125 tackles and 13.5 tackles for loss.

He’s etched his named as one of the best B1G linebackers in history.

And now, with only a bowl game left in his career, Jewell sat down with Big Ten Network to talk about the win over Nebraska, this past season and his career as a Hawkeye. He also talked about winning the Jack Lambert Award.

Jewell talked extensively about his teammates and pursuing team goals rather than trying to earn individual accolades. He also complimented Iowa City as a great community that has great support for the Hawkeyes.
