WATCH: T.J. Hockenson hauls in first career NFL TD during huge rookie debut
This comes as no surprise, but T.J. Hockenson is fitting in just nicely with the Detroit Lions.
The former Iowa star was arguably one of the most NFL-ready players in the entire 2019 NFL Draft. A complete tight end that is capable of clearing a running lane or running a sharp route, Hockenson went over 100 receiving yards in his regular-season debut. He also scored in Week 1.
As quarterback Matt Stafford left the pocket to extend this play, Hockenson drifted to the center of the end zone to make a target. Stafford lofted it up, and Hockenson came down with the score surrounded by Arizona defenders.
Needless to say, Hockenson looks like he’ll be a key piece for the Lions moving forward:
