We’ve got ourselves a ballgame in Iowa City.

Wisconsin and Iowa entered halftime of Saturday night’s clash tied at 7-7. The Badgers held a touchdown lead in the second quarter, but thanks to some tremendous playmaking from Nate Stanley and some big-time catches, the Hawkeyes tied things up.

Stanley was flushed from the pocked midway through the second quarter but was able to extend a play and find T.J. Hockenson downfield for a huge gain. It was one of the more impressive pass and throws of the night.

Shortly after that incredible play, Stanley found tight end Noah Fant over the middle of the field for the tying touchdown.

Those were some huge plays the Hawkeyes desperately needed.

Iowa had been able to move the ball offensively, but couldn’t put points on the scoreboard. We’ll see if that series of plays leads to more points in the second half.
