What Kirk Ferentz said following Iowa's blowout win over Indiana
Indiana was no match for Iowa Saturday.
The Hawkeyes came out ready to play and rode a monster performance by QB Nate Stanley to a huge win over the Hoosiers. Stanley completed 21-of-33 passes for 320 yards and 6 TDs in the game.
Stanley was no doubt the star in the big win, and his work with Iowa’s TEs was especially impressive. TJ Hockenson and Noah Fant combined for 8 receptions, 208 yards, and 3 TDs for the Hawkeyes.
Iowa improves to 5-1 with the win and will turn its attention to Maryland next weekend. Here’s what Kirk Ferentz had to say following the victory:
Kirk Ferentz on #Hawkeyes radio on Nate Stanley: "More big plays than you'd expect in a game, but a lot of that was (Indiana's) aggressiveness on defense."
