Xavier Nwankpa made a great play while filling in for Kaevon Merriweather. The Iowa DB scored on a pick six during the Music City Bowl versus Kentucky.
Kentucky QB Destin Wade tried to hit a Wildcat receiver down the field and Nwankpa ran in front of the wideout to pick the ball off. Nwankpa returned the interception for a 52-yard score.
Before the Music City Bowl, Nwankpa had played in 11 games for Iowa this season and recorded 4 total tackles.

Iowa is looking scary during the first half of the game. Nwankpa is doing a solid job in the Iowa secondary without Merriweather, who declared for the 2023 NFL Draft and opted out.
If the Hawkeyes keep this up, the Music City Bowl could get ugly for the Wildcats.
