Wednesday has been the day for college players to make decisions on their future and that’s included 2 Maryland defensive backs.
Both safety Jordan Mosley and cornerback Nick Cross have declared for the NFL Draft.

Maryland senior safety Jordan Mosley has announced on Instagram that he will declare for the 2022 NFL Draft and forgo his remaining year eligibility.

Cross enjoyed his best season as a Terp in 2021 after he finished with 66 total tackles (44 solo) along with 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 interceptions. He also had 5 passes defended.
In the Pinstripe Bowl against Virginia Tech, Cross had 3 total tackles with 1 sack and a forced fumble.
Mosley also had his best season yet with Maryland after finishing with 83 total tackles (56 solo) along with 1 forced fumble and 8 passes defended.
He blew away his career-high in tackles that he set in 2019 with 48 while also having the most passes defended for his career.
Against Virginia Tech, Mosley had 6 total tackles (3 solo) with 1 pass defended.
Maryland’s secondary is set to look a lot thinner next season with both players leaving.
