Wednesday has been the day for college players to make decisions on their future and that’s included 2 Maryland defensive backs.

Both safety Jordan Mosley and cornerback Nick Cross have declared for the NFL Draft.

Cross enjoyed his best season as a Terp in 2021 after he finished with 66 total tackles (44 solo) along with 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 interceptions. He also had 5 passes defended.

In the Pinstripe Bowl against Virginia Tech, Cross had 3 total tackles with 1 sack and a forced fumble.

Mosley also had his best season yet with Maryland after finishing with 83 total tackles (56 solo) along with 1 forced fumble and 8 passes defended.

He blew away his career-high in tackles that he set in 2019 with 48 while also having the most passes defended for his career.

Against Virginia Tech, Mosley had 6 total tackles (3 solo) with 1 pass defended.

Maryland’s secondary is set to look a lot thinner next season with both players leaving.
