Maryland is still waiting on its first basketball commitment for the class of 2022, but one power forward out of Georgia is still considering the Terrapins.
The player is Chauncey Wiggins, a 3-star forward out of Loganville, Georgia. He unveiled his top 5 list Friday afternoon with Maryland joining the likes of Georgia, Clemson, South Florida, and North Carolina State.

According to the industry-generated composite rankings, Wiggins is the No. 32 PF and the 175th player nationally for the cycle. Wiggins is also the 11th best prospect out of Georgia.
Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon would love to add a commitment as the Terrapins are still without a player for their class of 2022. It will be interesting to see how Wiggin’s recruitment shapes up the rest of the way.
