Bruno Fernando has become Mr. Double-Double.

The Maryland forward registered his 18th double-double of the season, helping lead the Terrapins to a 72-62 victory over Ohio State on Saturday afternoon.

Maryland appeared to have the game well in-hand midway through the second half, building a 52-36 lead with 11:14 remaining in the contest. But a 19-5 run by the Buckeyes made it a two-point game at 57-55 with just over five minutes left.

A few made free throws from Serrel Smith Jr. and an authoritative dunk by Aaron Wiggins helped seal the deal for the Terrapins. It was a second-straight win for Maryland, which improved to 12-5 in B1G play and is clinging to the fourth spot in the conference standings.

Overall, the Terrapins are 21-7.

Fernando finished the game with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Anthony Cowan Jr. led the team in scoring with 19, while Smith added 14 and Darryl Morsell had 11.

Maryland will travel to Penn State for its next matchup, taking on the Nittany Lions on Wednesday.
