Chigoziem Okonkwo hurdles Spartan defender during huge TD for Terps
Chigoziem Okonkwo is having a big game vs. Michigan State, and the Maryland tight end turned in a highlight-reel catch-and-run to cut into the Spartan lead.
After the Spartans took a 34-14 lead, the Terrapins came right back down the field. It culminated with a tight end screen pass to Okonkwo. The blocking was set up, and Okonkwo also proved tough to bring down. He broke one quick tackle and then jumped over two Spartans on his way for the 32-yard score.
Now late in the 3rd quarter, Okonkwo’s score made it 34-21 as Maryland tries to get back into this one:
