Yesterday, Maryland defensive back Denzel Conyers was the subject of a scary moment in practice that resulted in him being taken away in an ambulance.
Today, Conyers is back with the team.
The Washington Post’s Roman Stubbs reported that Conyers was treated for a concussion but that he wouldn’t be sidelined long.

Conyers actually returned to the team on Thursday night.
That’s good news for a guy who is looking to carve out a role in the Terps’ secondary. The former JUCO transfer had two tackles for loss and a sack in his first season at Maryland.
Barring any setbacks, it sounds like Conyers won’t have anything holding him back from being ready for the season opener on Sept. 3.
