Maryland lands commitment from four-star dual-threat quarterback
Another year, another four-star quarterback for DJ Durkin.
On Wednesday, the Terps got a commitment from four-star dual-threat quarterback Tyler DeSue, who picked Maryland over the likes of North Carolina State and UCF.

That news came two weeks after DeSue took an unofficial visit to College Park.
DeSue is rated the No. 13 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 8 Virginia recruit in the 2018 class.Ā The Virginia Beach native gave the Terps theirĀ second 2018 recruit.
At Maryland, DeSue will compete with several worthy options the starting job. UNC transfer Caleb Henderson, promising sophomore Tyrrell Pigrome, four-star true freshman Kasim Hill and Max BortenschlagerĀ are all vying for the starting job this year. All of them will have eligibility remaining when DeSue arrives in 2018.
Maryland now ranks No. 11 in the B1G and No. 55 overall in the 247sports class rankings.
