Dontay Demus Jr. gashes Rutgers with lightning-quick 80-yard score

Maryland is wasting no time getting on the board against Rutgers!
After dropping the last two games, the Terrapins are eager to get back in the win column. The offense has been significantly limited in the two losses after starting the season in electric fashion.
So far, the unit has hit the ground running against the Scarlet Knights. Quarterback Josh Jackson hit Dontay Demus Jr. off a quick option play, and he was off to the races.
The middle of the field was wide open as Demus went the distance for the 80-yard touchdown:

According to the BTN Stats guys, it was the longest pass play for the Terps since a 92-yard score in 2016:
