Maryland enters the game with a 7-5 record. The Terrapins secured bowl eligibility in October after defeating Northwestern 31-24. The Terps had 3-straight losses in November, but ended the regular season on a high note with a 37-0 win over Rutgers.
NC State is 8-4 on the year, finishing the regular season with a thrilling win over in-state rival North Carolina 30-27 in double overtime.
The Duke’s Mayo Bowl is set for Dec. 30 with a noon ET kickoff, airing on ESPN.
