Kief was not drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, but earned a workout with the Buffalo Bills. He was not retained by the franchise.

During his career with the Crimson Tide, Kief appeared in 50 games, getting work at wide receiver and on special teams. Though he saw the field often, he finished his time in Tuscaloosa with just 10 catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns. In his final season in 2018, he hauled in four passes for 39 yards and a score.

Locksley is entering his second season as the head coach at Maryland. Last year, the Terps finished 3-9 and 1-8 in B1G play.
