The B1G football season has come to a close, and now we head into the long, dark offseason awaiting kickoff in late August. For now, we will have transfers and signing day to hold us over.

The latest transfer out of the B1G is Maryland LB Branden Jennings, who has found his landing spot in the heartland. He is headed to the Big 12 to play for the Kansas State Wildcats.

This season for the Terrapins, Jennings played in 7 games recording 23 total tackles, 17 of which were solo, 1 tackle for loss and a fumble recovery.

Maryland finished the season on a high note as they cruised to a 54-10 victory over Virginia Tech in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl to finish the season with a winning record at 7-6 for the first time under head coach Mike Locksley.

Maryland will look to build off the 2021 season as they head into 2022 and hope to be more competitive in the B1G East.
