J.C. Jackson is on the move and getting paid. The former Maryland defender has signed a new contract with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Jackson played for the New England Patriots the past 4 seasons (2018-21). He’s coming off of a 2021 season in which he recorded 8 interceptions and 58 tackles, earning second-team All-Pro recognition and a Pro Bowl selection. Over his professional career, Jackson has logged 158 tackles, 53 pass deflections, 25 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries and a forced fumble.
Jackson played his final 2 seasons of college football at Maryland in 2016 and ’17, transferring from Riverside City College.
