Kaden Prather, former WVU WR, reveals B1G transfer commitment
Kaden Prather had a strong season for West Virginia in 2022. After entering the transfer portal, the wide receiver is on his way to the B1G.
Originally a 4-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class out of Maryland, Prather is returning home. He revealed on social media he’ll be transferring to Mike Locksley’s Maryland program for the 2023 season.

In 2022, the 6-foot-4 Prather finished second on the Mountaineers with 52 catches. He also finished the year with 501 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns.
Already, Rakim Jarrett has made the decision to leave the Terrapins for the 2023 NFL Draft. With a veteran receiving room and other decisions yet to be made, Prather gives Locksley’s offense another threat on the outside for 2023.
We’ll see if the Terrapins are able to add any other pieces out of the portal this offseason.
