The player is Perry Fisher, a quarterback out of Lincoln High School. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Fisher is rated as the No. 111 ATH nationally for the cycle.

“First, I would like to thank God, because without him, none of this would be possible,” wrote Fisher. “I would also like to thank the University of Maryland and the entire coaching staff for taking a chance on me.”

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 185 lbs., Fisher threw for over 1,400 yards with 11 touchdowns in 2020. He also ran for 289 yards and nine touchdowns. According to Andrew Ivins with Inside MD Sports, the Terrapins plan to utilize Fisher as a wide receiver at the next level. He definitely has the size and speed to make the change.
The addition of Fisher brings Maryland’s recruiting class up to 11 commits.
