The addition of Toledo gives Maryland two non-conference home games for the 2024 season. The Terrapins will also host UConn on Aug. 31. The third non-conference game that season is a road trip to Virginia on Sept. 14.
Maryland now has completed its non-conference schedules for the 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024 seasons. The program still needs to add one more game to the 2021 season, according to FBSchedules.com.
In 2019, the Terrapins finished the season 3-9 and were 2-1 in non-conference contests. The 2020 season will open on Sept. 5 against Towson at Maryland Stadium.
