Locksley said he plans to find ways to get Pigrome involved as well. "We are excited about the talent in the quarterback room and strongly feel that we can win with both guys. We’ll find ways to utilize each of their talents, but are confident with Josh leading the team.”

In 2018, Tyrrell Pigrome threw 67 passes and completed 37 passes. He’s back. However, Maryland brought in Josh Jackson — a QB transfer from Virginia Tech — who has won the starting job for Week 1.
Jackson threw for 2,991 yards while tossing 20 TD to 9 INT back in 2017. A year ago for the Hokies, he only got to play in three games due to injuries, but he still had 5 passing TD compared to one INT.
