Maryland basketball is still looking at impact transfer options for the 2023-24 season.

According to college basketball insider Adam Zagoria, the Terps remain a top option for Boston College transfer DeMarr Langford. Per the report, he’s also still considering George Washington, Richmond, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Jacksonville State and Eastern Michigan.

Langford entered the transfer portal this offseason after spending the previous 3 seasons at Boston College. He was a consistent starter for the Eagles, doing so 54 times over the past 3 campaigns.

His role with Boston College dipped slightly in 2022-23. He averaged 7 points per game this past season after scoring more than 11 points per contest in 2021-22. His minutes, assists and rebounds per game also went down during his junior season.

At 6-foot-5, Langford has good size for the guard position. He attended Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. He was a 4-star prospect coming out of high school.

Maryland has already added a pair of transfers this cycle: point guards Jahmir Young and Don Carey. The Terps have also signed one player in the 2023 high school recruiting class: 3 star small forward Noah Batchelor.
