Maryland basketball had a player enter the transfer portal on Monday, according to a report from Testudo Times’ Emmett Siegel. The player appeared in six games for the Terps in 2022.

Pavlo Dziuba’s career started at Arizona State. He played for the Sun Devils during the 2020-2021 season before transferring to Maryland the following year.

Dziuba was a former 4-star power forward from the 2020 class. He is a native of Ukraine and was the No. 24 PF from his class. Arizona State was the only school to offer him as a recruit.

Kevin Willard coached Maryland to a pair of appearances in the NCAA Tournament after reaching the quarterfinal of the B1G Tournament in his first season at College Park. Willard is off to a solid start.

Maryland beat No. 9 West Virginia 67-65 before losing to Alabama in the second round. The Terps finished the 2022 season with a 22-13 record.

Dziuba averaged around 2.1 minutes on the court for each game in 2022. He played in the win over Louisville for four minutes.

Dziuba comes in at 6-foot-8 and it plays to his advantage while on the court. The next school that he decides to play for will definitely using his height. Tradition will keep you updated on the team Dziuba plays for in 2023.
