As a standout safety, Delhomme drew widespread interest. He picked up scholarship offers from 20 programs, including Auburn, Florida State, Michigan and Penn State.

On May 30, Delhomme named a top 6 of Maryland, Ohio State, Alabama, Virginia Tech, Virginia and Syracuse. Over the next four weekends, he would visit Maryland, Ohio State, Virginia and Virginia Tech, his four finalists going into decision day.

“I like the atmosphere, I love the camaraderie of the team and then I like the connection the coaches have with the players,” Delhomme told Rivals about choosing to commit to Maryland.

With Delhomme on board, Maryland now has 22 prospects verbally pledged for 2025. On the Composite, the class ranks No. 8 in the Big Ten and No. 23 overall nationally.
