Some teams would scoff at a trip to Detroit for the Quick Lane Bowl in the middle of winter.
Maryland isn’t one of them.
The Terps, who doubled their win total in their first season under DJ Durkin, are enjoying the bowl experience. Maryland players even decided to get into the Detroit spirit.

Props to whoever who pulled off the KISS makeup. That took some serious dedication.
Maryland is also dedicated to picking up its first bowl victory since 2010. The Terps can do that when they take on Boston College on Dec. 26.
