Maryland football drops hype video for homecoming game against Northwestern
Maryland is facing Northwestern on homecoming weekend. The team’s social media account posted a hype video ahead of Saturday’s game.
The theme of the video was: there’s no place like home. The Terps are 5-2 after a 38-33 win over Indiana in Week 7. Maryland is just one win away from punching its ticket to another bowl game for the second-straight season.

Taulia Tagovailoa’s status for the game is unclear as he suffered a knee injury against the Hoosiers. Mike Locksley stated that he’ll be a game-time decision.
Maryland has not had the best games against Northwestern in the two times these teams have played. The Terrapins are 0-2 against the Wildcats all-time. 2020’s meeting ended in blowout fashion with a 42-3 Northwestern win. Maryland lost 37-21 at College Park in 2017 as well.
On the Northwestern side things have not gone too well. Pat Fitzgerald’s team is 1-5 through six games and is very close to missing out on the postseason.
Can the Terps get their first win over the Wildcats in program history? We’ll see as kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
