Maryland football has one of the best Twitter accounts in the conference and on Friday, they proved it once again.

With the speculation that Texas and Oklahoma are rumored to be interested in leaving the Big 12 for the SEC, Maryland decided to interject itself and poke some fun at the situation.

Take a look at one of the most epic troll jobs you’ll ever see:

Just wow. Whoever runs the Maryland account needs a raise immediately.

For context, Maryland swept a home-and-home with Texas a few years ago. Maryland defeated Texas 51-41 on the road in 2017, and then won 34-29 at home in 2018.

While Maryland is joking, if the realignment happens, it could prove to be an impending disaster for the B1G. Meanwhile, Kansas is reportedly engaging with the B1G about potentially joining the conference.

Maryland posted a 2-3 record in 2020 and opens the 2021 campaign on Sept. 4 vs. visiting West Virginia (3:30 p.m. EST), with the game televised on ESPN.
