Maryland is still searching for its first commitment for the class of 2022, but one of the best players in the country is still considering the Terrapins.

Over the weekend, power forward Jarace Walker of IMG Academy cut his list down to his final 7 options. He kept Maryland on his list, along with Alabama, Auburn, Houston, LSU, Texas, and the option to go professional via the G League.

According to the industry-generated composite rankings, Walker is a 5-star prospect and the 8th best player in the nation regardless of position. He is also rated the No. 1 power forward in the country and is listed at 6-foot-8 and 220 lbs.

Walker is definitely a game-changer in the class of 2022 and is one prospect to watch moving forward.
