Maryland houses second half kickoff, scores on 80-yard TD run two minutes later
Maryland was supposed to take care of business against Rutgers and just three minutes into the second half, it looks as though that business is being taken care of.
The Terrapins took a 27-7 lead into halftime Saturday afternoon.
However, the score got much worse quickly. The second half kickoff was kicked and went to Maryland and got housed by Javon Leake:

But, that wasn’t all. Two minutes later, Maryland got the ball back and running back Anthony McFarland Jr. took off for an 80-yard TD, making the score 41-7:

Maryland-Rutgers is airing on BTN. If the score holds, the Terrapins will move to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in Big Ten play, while Rutgers would drop to 1-4 (0-3).
