Maryland is looking to get to 2-0 on the season after knocking off West Virginia last week, and the Terrapins are having their way against Howard.

After two quarters of action, Maryland is up by a score of 38-0, and the stars are firing on all cylinders. That includes quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa who is dropping dimes all over the field.

He connected on one short touchdown to Chigoziem Okonkwo and has also hooked up with Dontay Demus Jr. for a number of big plays.

At the break, Tagovailoa was 19-for-24 passing with 214 yards and 2 TDs. Demus has been his favorite target with 5 catches for 107 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, Maryland has shut out Howard while stifling the Bison offense. Howard gained just 61 yards of total offense in the half, including a mere 10 yards on the ground.

Mike Locksley’s squad should be well on their way to 2-0 and a Week 3 road trip to Illinois.
