Maryland has grown its 2025 recruiting class with a second early commitment.

Kahlil Stewart is the newest verbal pledge for Mike Locksley’s program. The lineman from Philadelphia took to social media to share the big news.

A standout of St. Joseph’s Prep School, Stewart is listed as measuring 6-4 and 306 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Stewart is rated 3-stars, the No. 17 player in the state of Pennsylvania, No. 53 interior offensive lineman and No. 682 prospect overall in the Class of 2025.

Stewart has picked up scholarship offers from five programs at this stage of his recruitment. He committed to the Terrapins having also received interest from Penn State, Kentucky, Boston College and James Madison.

Maryland now has two verbal commitments in its 2025 recruiting class, which ranks No. 41 nationally on the Composite. Stewart joins Jett White, a 3-star ATH prospect out of Miami. White committed to the Terps during the All-American Bowl.
