Maryland lands commitment from highly-touted RB in class of 2024
Maryland just added an important piece to its 2024 recruiting class.
The Terps earned a commitment from 3-star running back Terek McCant on Tuesday afternoon.

McCant is a big-time addition for Maryland’s 2024 recruiting class. He currently ranks as the No. 73 running back in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
He’s listed at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds. He attends Wharton High School in Tampa, Florida.
McCant has received offers from some of the top programs in the country. His offer list includes Texas A&M, Texas, Arkansas, Arizona, Kansas State and Ole Miss, to name a few.
McCant is the 2nd prospect to commit to Maryland in the class of 2024. He’s joined by 3-star linebacker Justin Okoronkwo.
