Maryland loses commitment from 2020 DB out of Georgia
Maryland lost one commitment from its 2020 recruiting class on Wednesday.
The player is Rashad Battle, a cornerback out of Creekside High School in Fairburn, Georgia. Battle is listed as a three-star prospect on the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, but he has impressive size for the position.
At 6-foot-2 and 187 lbs., Battle has the physical makeup to turn into a strong player at the next level. He is rated as the No. 35 CB nationally for the 2020 class and has also received offers from Baylor, Duke, Iowa, Georgia Tech, Minnesota, and South Carolina, among others.
