Need a reason to head to the Terrapins home opener, Maryland students? The athletic department has 10,000 of them.

Friday, the school announced that one lucky student would win $10,000 if the Terrapins return a punt for a touchdown in the second half against Towson. The only kicker – other than Towson’s punter – is that the student must be present to win.

It’s a pretty cool incentive to bring Maryland students to the stadium, especially as the Terps play a pretty unappealing opponent in Towson.

The game kicks off at noon E.T. and will air on BTN. But we’ll have to wait until the third quarter to see if any student will be $10,000 richer on Saturday afternoon.
