One Maryland OL and a contributor early in his career is reportedly in the transfer portal.
According to national recruiting analyst Mike Farrell, offensive lineman Coltin Deery is in the transfer portal as of Monday. A 6-foot-4 and 295-pound OL out of the 2022 recruiting class, Deery appeared in 10 games with 2 starts as a true freshman.
The move comes with the Terrapins still in the middle of the spring practice session. Maryland is scheduled to have its spring game on April 29.
If Deery does indeed leave the program, that would be a blow to the depth on the offensive line heading into the 2023 season.

Coming out of high school, Deery was a 3-star prospect from Malvern Prep High School in Malvern, Pennsylvania. We will wait and see how his time in the transfer portal shapes up.
