Maryland OL, veteran starter announces entry into transfer portal
One Maryland OL with key experience as a starter for the Terrapins is heading for the transfer portal.
Early Saturday morning, Mason Lunsford announced his entry into the portal. A 6-foot-7 offensive tackle, Lunsford spent 4 seasons in the program after joining Maryland as a 3-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting class.
“Dear Terps, I want to thank the University of Maryland and the entire Maryland community for giving me a shot to play football at my dream school,” wrote Lunsford. “I want to thank the endless amount of people that helped me get here and anyone that has helped me throughout these past 4 years.
“With that being said, I will be entering the transfer portal as a grad transfer with two years of eligibility left!”
