Maryland opens as hefty favorite for Week 5 matchup against Indiana
Maryland football looks to keep churning in the B1G following a perfect 4-0 start to the 2023 college football season.
The Terrapins are currently 2-2 against the spread but 2-0 in their past 2 games, downing Virginia and Michigan State in dominant fashion across the past 2 weeks.
Circa Sports released the opening line for Mike Locksley’s squad as a -16 favorite in College Park Sunday afternoon. The point total for the game is also set at 51. Fans interested in taking part in those odds can use our special DraftKings Maryland promo code to get started!

The Terps have seen some strong play from QB Taulia Tagovailoa so far this season. Maryland is currently 2nd in the conference behind only Penn State in points per game and first in yards per game, beating out the Nittany Lions and Ohio State. Regardless of opponent, that’s pretty impressive from Mick Locksley’s squad.
And Indiana doesn’t provide a huge step up in competition, either. The Hoosiers are 2-2 but were very nearly knocked off by Akron Saturday night, needing quadruple overtime to win 29-27.
Saturday’s game between the Terps and Hoosiers is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network.
