Maryland is 3-0 after a Friday night blowout over Virginia and preparing to open the B1G schedule in East Lansing. On the other side of that matchup, Michigan State comes into B1G play on the heels of a historically poor outing against Washington.

It will be a fourth straight home game for the Spartans to begin the year and the first road contest for the Terrapins. However, the odds for the Week 4 matchup were released on Sunday, and Maryland heads into the game as a slight favorite on the road.

Circa Sports released the opening line for Mike Locksley’s squad as a -4 favorite in East Lansing. The point total for the game is also set at 56.5. Fans interested in taking part in those odds can use our special DraftKings Maryland promo code to get started!

Entering a game as a road favorite in conference play is traditionally an unusual place to be, and Maryland should be cautious entering the game. However, the matchup on paper sets up nicely for the Terrapins.

Michigan State allowed Michael Penix Jr. to throw for 473 yards and surrendered over 700 yards of offense in a Week 3 loss to Washington. Additionally, the Spartans are still moving forward under interim head coach Harlon Barnett during the Mel Tucker suspension.

Overall, look for Taulia Tagovailoa to take advantage of the matchup. He has just shy of 900 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season while completing nearly 67% of his passes during a 3-0 start for the Terps.

Saturday’s kickoff is set for 3:30 pm ET on NBC.
