Maryland picks up 2023 commitment from in-state tight end

Maryland is now up to 14 commitments in its 2023 recruiting class. On Sunday, an in-state tight end announced his pledge to play for Mike Locksley’s program.
AJ Szymanski, a Towson native, shared the news on Twitter. He made the commitment after taking an official visit to check out the Terrapins.

Szymanski does not have a recruiting rating, but is listed at 6-5, 245 pounds by 247Sports, which shows he has picked up 14 scholarship offers during his recruitment, including Army, Navy, Temple and UConn.
