Addison is currently ranked as the No. 88 receiver in the class of 2023, per 247Sports. He does not yet have a Composite ranking.
While it’s still early in the recruitment timeframe for Addison, his comfort level with Locksley and receivers coach Zohn Burden during an early October visit left him readly to make an early call.
The Irvington High School (N.J.) is the second member of the class, and the second from New Jersey to commit to the Terps, with Jersey City St. Peter’s Prep quarterback Robert Long already on the books to head to Maryland — he made his commitment in June.
Addison was offered by the Terps back in February, and made visits over the summer, making a final visit during the Oct. 1 game against Iowa. He had offers from Boston College, Virginia, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Syracuse, Temple and Massachusetts.
