Maryland is set to have a big game in the 2022 Duke’s Mayo Bowl against No. 23 NC State. The Terrapins are already having a fun time in the extracurricular events.

Running back Challen Faamatau, defensive lineman Quashon Fuller, offensive lineman Kyle Long, running back Antwain Littleton II, quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa, quarterback Billy Edwards Jr, running back Roman Hemby, and wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer were all among the players and coaches that rode shotgun in a NASCAR that drove 170 miles per hour on the track in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Video from the Terps’ test ride was released on Maryland’s social media as players were having the ride of their lives.

Maryland and NC State are set to play in their 71st meeting as a football program. They will play their first game since 2013 when the Terrapins were in the ACC. Maryland won that game 41-21 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The series is tied 33-33-4.
